Established in 1971, the Brownsville Yacht Club has become a mainstay on the shores of the Puget Sound. 

Brownsville Yacht Club is a family club whose purpose is to encourage and promote the sport of yachting and boating, safety on the water, the science of seamanship and navigation, and to afford a means of good fellowship among the community who love the water as sport and recreation. Boaters and non-boaters are welcome.

Brownsville Yacht Club is also a community hub for the Brownsville area with charitable and educational events for the public. These include Friday Deck Parties in the summer (bring a dish to share), Haunted Harbor fund raiser for a local food bank and Beach Walks with local marine biologists.
